We believe these statements to be truths which God has revealed to mankind so that man may know God:
The Scriptures: We believe the Scriptures were written by men who were inspired by God for that purpose. The Scriptures are infallible and
without error. They are authoritative in revealing God's character, HIS salvation for mankind, the principles by which God directs men to live, and
any subject which they address.
Sovereign God: We believe in the only living and true God, whose name is JEHOVAH. HE is the Creator and Supreme Ruler of the entire
Universe and is personal, spiritual, infinitely Holy, absolute and exists in the three (3) persons of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. All
three (3) persons are eternal and equal in power and glory, having the same attributes, yet separate, but without division of nature or essence.
God the Father is all-loving and all-wise. God the Son laid aside the glory of HIS divinity to take the form of a sinless man to be all mankind's
substitute for sin. God the Holy Spirit convicts men of sin, righteousness and judgment, indwells believers in Jesus Christ, and bestows
spiritual gifts for the equipping of the saints.
Man and Salvation: We believe all men have sinned in failing to do all that God desires. A person cannot exist in this world without sin,
because it is a spiritual characteristic of the entire race. No effort by man can produce righteousness before God. Through faith man, drawn by
the Holy Spirit, may accept the grace of God provided through the redemptive death of Christ. Christ came as both God and man and as such
was mediator, Sacrifice and Redeemer to bring to God those who believe. Salvation manifests itself in Justification, Experiential Sanctification,
and Glorification. Justification occurs at the time one receives Christ as personal Savior, and the Holy Spirit causes spiritual rebirth and
indwells the believer. Experiential sanctification is the process in which the believer grows in grace toward conformity with Jesus Christ.
Glorification is the final redemptive experience occurring when the believer comes into the presence of God in Heaven. To be able to know our
living and true God requires a miracle of the gracious revelation of Himself. To walk in worship with our living and true God is the privilege of all
who know HIM.
Baptism: We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a believer, into the name of the Father, and Son, and Holy Spirit: to
demonstrate in a solemn and beautiful symbol, our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, with its effect, in our death to sin and
resurrection to a new life.
The Lord's Supper: We believe in the regular observance of the Lord's Supper in which all believers are to commemorate together the dying
love of Christ: preceded by solemn self-examination and followed by a celebration together of the redemptive blood that has made full
atonement for our sins.
Discipleship: We believe that all Christians have been called to walk intimately with God and to
raise up Godly men, women, children, and families that walk intimately with God. This requires
Christian discipleship which includes willing submission to the Holy Spirit, for leadership and
teaching, and to a more mature believer, so that, we might fully experience this intimacy; for the
purpose of teaching, encouragement, sharpening, and guidance.
Further Statements: These statements are not exhaustive; they are given in order to emphasize the
foundation of our faith. The Holy Scriptures will be the final authority in all matters of doctrine.
